The primary focus of the UTC (Utilities Technology Council) will be to work with Walker & Associates, one of our major channel partners to pursue business with Utility customers and to help them upgrade their current equipment.). 

Telco Systems will discuss the technologies of today and show you the differences, advantages and benefits. When considering upgrading your network, Carrier Ethernet & MPLS are the technologies that should come to mind. There is no right or wrong answer when making your decision it’s whichever fits your needs. The nice part about making this decision today is that much of the testing has been done and the standards written by the Service Providers, Carriers and Vendors that belong to MEF ( Metro Ethernet Forum).

The device supports a wide range of industry OAM standards, including link level IEEE 802.3ah EFM, 802.1ag Connectivity Fault Management (CFM) protocols and ITU-T Y.1731 loss and delay measurement, as well as Y.1731 SLM for E-LAN testing, and RFC2544 and Y.1564 for service activation testing.
