The Third Network

MEF recently announced The Third Network vision. The Third Network vision is based upon Network as a Service principles, builds upon the MEF’s extensive body of CE 2.0, SDN and virtualization. Third Network initiatives include Service Orchestration functions, APIs, a protocol independent Information Model and enhanced Service Definitions, all of which are supporting agile, assured and orchestrated Network as a Service between physical and virtual service endpoints. This session with discuss the Third Network vision and, its building blocks, the advantages and impact it brings to the service providers and their customers.
