T-Metro 7224

Carrier Ethernet Aggregation Switch

T-Metro 7224
Telco Systems’ T-Metro 7224 10 Gigabit multi-service Carrier Ethernet aggregation switch supports a Carrier Ethernet and MPLS network, enabling service providers to bring MPLS closer to the customer without the high cost and complexity generally associated with MPLS networks.

This carrier-class device is an ideal solution for Tier 3 service providers who want to extend the advantages of MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching) to corporate customers who want the security of a transparent LAN (Local-Area Network) across multiple sites.

Designed as a provider edge device, the T-Metro 7224 could also replace larger chassis-based solutions which require not only more rack space but also consume more power.
The T-Metro 7224 multi-service ethernet aggregation switch is equipped with a full complement of Ethernet OAM tools to support end-to-end service management and ensure true quality of service in the metro access network.

These OAM features plus HQoS (Hierarchical Quality of Service) offer the mechanisms needed to ensure service delivery regardless of bandwidth availability.
