Prestigious Carrier Ethernet Vendor Award Goes to Telco Systems' T-Marc 300 Series

Mansfield, Mass. –October 17, 2011 - Telco Systems, a BATM company (LSE: BVC) and provider of multi-service MPLS and Carrier Ethernet access and aggregation solutions, is the winner of the Best Carrier Ethernet Demarcation Product EMEA, as announced at the inaugural IIR & MEF Carrier Ethernet Awards EMEA event held during the Carrier Ethernet World Congress in Amsterdam on October 12, 2011.

“The competition for the award this year was very strong, and we thank the industry’s top experts' for underscoring the T-Marc 300 Series for excellence in the Ethernet demarcation product category," said Itzik Weinstein, CEO of Telco Systems.

Telco Systems T-Marc 300 Series is an intelligent and remotely managed multiport demarcation device which delivers managed converged services (voice, video, data and mobile backhaul) over virtual Ethernet, MPLS/VPLS and IP networks.
The T-Marc 300 Series allows service providers to deliver multiple services to multiple customers including multiple services over a single customer interface, while maintaining separation and security of each customer. Because each service instance can be isolated, providers can remotely troubleshoot each individual service without impacting other services running concurrently across the device or specific customer port. Applications can be prioritized over different traffic-engineered paths, while multi-level Operations, Administration and Maintenance (OAM) is used to measure and ensure provisioned Service Level Agreements (SLA) are met, and security controls are embedded to ensure protection against denial-of-service attacks.

The T-Marc 300 Series is MEF 9 and 14 certified with deployments in both business Ethernet and wireless backhaul applications worldwide.
